NBS Fall Regional Meeting
Schedule of Activities

Friday, September 18: (Rarig Center)
• 6pm - Registration and setup for "Cover the Walls" Student, faculty, staff, and theatre professionals- SHOW US YOUR DESIGN WORK! Open invitation for designers to exhibit their work and share with fellow artist their ideas and approaches to design.
• 7pm - BAR-B-Q Dinner - Burgers, hot-dogs and regular picnic fixings on the loading dock.
• 8pm - Northern Boundary Membership Meeting.
• 9:30pm - Bowling – Memory Lanes.
A NOTE ABOUT BOWLING: Memory Lanes (which is close to campus) will not reserve lanes for parties of fewer than 25 people. If you plan to bowl Friday evening please send an email to: lefeb001@umn.edu. If fewer than 25 people are interested in bowling, there is a good chance that those interested will be able to do so, it might just be a bit of a wait.

Saturday, September 19:
• 8am - Registration at BOTH the Guthrie and Rarig Center. Park near the facility where your morning session is scheduled.
• 9am - 11am –Lighting and sound at the Guthrie: Presenters are Tom Mays, Guthrie Theater Lighting Supervisor, and Scott Edwards, Guthrie Theater Sound Supervisor. (Guthrie)
• 9am - 4:30pm - Scene painting the Brockman way – Carla Sandoval and Annie Rollins. (Rarig Center, U of Mn) - All Day
• 9am – 11am –Costume Design and realization for THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and WHEN WE ARE MARRIED at the Guthrie Theater: Presenters- dj gramann II, lead draper at the Guthrie Theater, and Mathew J. LeFebvre, designer. (Guthrie)
•11:00am-11:45am Backstage tour of the Guthrie Theater: (Guthrie) NOTE: Individuals attending morning workshops will take the tour following the morning session. If you are only interested in the tour, please arrive in the Guthrie Lobby by 11:00am.

• 11:50am-1:30pm - Lunch (on your own at local venues).
               All afternoon sessions are at Rarig Center.

• 1:30pm–4:00pm Hands-on DL3 projector and VL workshop. Martin Gwinup-Technical Director, U of MN-TwinCities, Travis Slyter-Ruehling & Associates, Bill Healey-Head Electrician, Minnesota Opera, and Mark Larson. (Rarig)
• 1:30pm - 4:00pm – Millinery: Hat Mock-up/Eye Training workshop. dj gramann II
• 4:30pm - Closing Comments (Rarig)
